Joanna’s passion for the world of design and architecture is evident the moment you meet her. After completing two degrees at the University of Alberta, Joanna completed her Masters in Interior and Living Design at Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. While at Domus, her thesis, Duende, earned acclaim for its understated minimalism and aesthetic, and complex exploration of the relationship between time, space and motion.
Under the tutelage of architect and design pioneer Patricia Urquiola, Joanna completed projects for B&BItalia, FLOS, KVADRAT and Moroso. She’s also interned with Studio Archipass, working under Alessia Cipolla. Her work has been featured during Milan Design Week, and at the Architecture Festival in Turin, Italy.
